On the nightstand (11/15/09). Finished. Absolutely incredibly story, both heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.

On the nightstand (11/20/09). Finished. The Godmother sent this to me awhile ago and I read it, and am re-reading it since I’m out of books — very interesting look into Mormonism and the off-shoots of the religion.

On the nightstand (11/24/09). Finished. From Paperback Swap. This wasn’t nearly as good as The Other Boleyn Girl, but it was at least entertaining.

On the nightstand (12/12/09). Finished. Early Christmas present from my mom - fascinating reading, I highly recommend it. The author’s writing style was slightly annoying at times, but there are some very interesting ideas discussed.

On the nightstand (12/14/09). Finished. From Paperback Swap. Eh. Not the greatest book I’ve ever read, but not the worst. The story itself was fine, but the prose seemed juvenile, like a creative writing project.

On the nightstand (2/15/10). Finished. Recommended in an EW article by Stephen King — very good (almost ghostie) story. Certain parts really creeped me the hell out.

On the nightstand (12/25/09). Update (2/25/10) — still reading this. Clearly I’m a moron, because I don’t understand the point of what seem to be several completely unrelated stories, and his writing style makes me want to stab myself in the face. *sigh* Oh well, I’ll suffer through because I can’t NOT finish.
