On the nightstand (12/16/09). Finished — excellent read. From Paperback Swap.
Books 2010

Well, mostly what I read. I’m sure one or two things didn’t make it on the list.
Also? This is not a review of books. I don’t do that; I’m not a book critic. I read a wide variety of things, from complete trash to classics.
This is a list, and if something was especially good, I’ll say so. If it especially sucked, I’ll mention that too. If you want book reviews, go ask the pros.

On the nightstand (12/24/09). Finished. Great short stories — reminds me of the old stuff he used to write.
-
On the nightstand (2/12/10). Finished. From Paperback Swap.
-
On the nightstand (2/15/10). Finished. Recommended in an EW article by Stephen King — very good (almost ghostie) story. Certain parts really creeped me the hell out.
-
On the nightstand (2/20/10). Finished. AMAY. ZING. Totally had me bawling towards the end.
-
On the nightstand (2/25/10). Finished. It was ok, a fast read. From Paperback Swap.
-
On the iPhone (3/01/10). Finished. Meh. It was okay — “surprise” twist at the ending that was pretty predictable.
-
On the iPhone 3/10/10. Finished. Excellent read — I had no idea it was a mystery, or a foreign novel.
-

-
On the nightstand (4/05/10). Finished — a heartbreaking story, very well written. From Paperback Swap

On the nightstand (12/25/09). Update (2/25/10) — still reading this. Clearly I’m a moron, because I don’t understand the point of what seem to be several completely unrelated stories, and his writing style makes me want to stab myself in the face. *sigh* Oh well, I’ll suffer through because I can’t NOT finish.
Update (5/23/10) — I’ve given up all hope of finishing this book, it’s just too damn weird and disjointed.

-
On the iPhone (5/16/10). Finished. Okay short story, I saw it on the Kindle app and needed something to read — I definitely would not buy the paper version of this.
-
On the nightstand (6/19/10). Finished. Borrowed from my mom — the story is predictable and cliché, almost to the point that I’m embarrassed to be reading it. *sigh*
-
On the nightstand (6/27/10). Finished. Great story, but I’m a little sad this will be the end of the series forever.
-
On the Kindle (7/17/10). Finished. OMG. I thought the Twilight books were addicting. This is pretty good, and a really fast read. I’m surprised that so far (up to what I’ve read) the series has stayed pretty true to the book.
-
On the Kindle (7/18/10). Finished. In one day. OMG.
-
On the Kindle (7/18/10). I can see how the show picks elements from the books, but at this point in the series the show and books don’t seem to follow each other as closely. Which is fine with me — the show is excellent and the books are (clearly) addicting.
-
On the Kindle (7/19/10). Finished. I’m shocked at how fast I’m devouring these books. NOM NOM NOM.
